| All conferees are encouraged to present their latest research in poster format. Poster boards will be erected in the Exhibition Hall, whereby posters can be thumb-tacked (no Velcro) to the boards for the duration of the conference. Posters are available for viewing in afternoons and evenings. At a designated time (to be announced during meeting), the researcher will be stationed at his or her poster for the purpose of discussing the poster's content. In the same spirit as all oral presentations at the Chambersburg Meeting, abstracts are not published in either peer-reviewed or non peer-reviewed proceedings. Instead, the viewer and presenter are encouraged to engage in active dialog. Any printed information is released at, and by, the presenter's discretion. |
| Awards will be presented for the best Senior Researcher poster and best Student poster, as determined by ballot of the Meeting's conferees. |
So that we may have an idea of the number of posters and their content, any conferee who is interested in displaying a poster is asked to notify the Poster Chairman (Dr. Stephen Delwiche) of his or her intent by July 15, 2014. Include the following information: Title, authors, affiliations, category (senior or student) a short (50-100 word) description of the research. Please use the email subject line of "IDRC Poster" to ensure that the email is routed correctly.
